As society continues to recognize the importance of self-care and wellness, vibrational medicine is receiving more attention. Although the gong has been around for thousands of years, awareness of its benefits for vibrant well-being is just beginning. In this 10-hour workshop you will learn how to play the gong for sound baths, yoga classes, as well as for your own self-care. This is a very experiential workshop where you will have the opportunity to play several different gongs and explore the use of different mallets.
Monique welcomes anyone who already owns a gong to bring it to the workshop, just let her know. Monique is also a gong distributor and if you would like to buy a gong, she will offer all students a complementary consultation to help you choose the right gong(s) and mallets for you.

2. Who is this course for?
The course is for yoga teachers, those interested in learning how to offer sound baths and for anyone interested in applying vibrational medicine for self-care.
3. What is the schedule for the two days?
Each day runs from 10-1 and 3-5 with breaks throughout the day, including a catered vegan lunch from 1-3. An agenda will be provided upon registration.
4. What should I bring?
Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and wear comfortable clothing since we will be sitting on the floor almost exclusively. Yoga mats, blankets and bolsters are in the studio.
5. Are there accessibility issues?
The course will be held in a studio that requires getting down about 10 steps. We will be sitting on the floor almost exclusively. If you will need a chair, please let the organizer know in advance.
6. Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who complete both full days will receive a certificate of completion that qualifies for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits.
7. Will there be hands-on or experiential components?
Absolutely. This is a very experiential workshop where you will have the opportunity to play several different gongs and explore the use of different mallets. Students will also have the opportunity to play gong in mini sound baths for the other students. The format emphasizes real practice and applied learning to ensure you can integrate the skills immediately after the course.
8. Are meals or refreshments provided?
A vegan lunch will be provided each day. Please bring your water bottle and any snacks you may want for breaks.
9. Is the course held in person or online?
Monique believes in personal attention and for students to experience a variety of gongs. So the course is only offered in person.
10. What is the refund or cancellation policy?

100% refund with 72 hours of booking course
50% refund within 3 months of course
25% refund within 1 month of course
No refund if cancellation is less than 1 month before course
There is a 6 student minimum for this course.
